Terms Of Use

Our terms and conditions comply with UK legislation and Distance Selling regulations. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. It is assumed by making an order, that you accept CRC's online Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a customer.

Prices

All products are sold in Pounds (£) sterling. Prices stated on the website include VAT, which is added at the current rate. Postage costs also have VAT added to them. Goods are charged at the price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order. Prices may be changed without notice.

Product Trademarks, Descriptions and Images

All trademarks appearing on the service are trademarks of their respective owners.

Product descriptions on this site typically provide an overview of a product's main features. Full product specifications are available from the relevant manufacturers' web sites or brochures.

Images where shown are representations of the products offered and are typically sourced from the relevant manufacturer. Colours and styles may differ from those of the actual product supplied due to image quality or availability.

Voltage requirements of electrical products

CRC only supply to customers in the UK. All electrical products are 220-240 Volts and are fitted with UK plugs.

Payment

Payment can be made by Visa, Master Card, Delta or Switch via our secure payment provider Barclaycard Business ePDQ (external web site).

All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will notify you immediately. We will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery as a result of such refusal.

Receipts

All customers placing an order will be provided with a receipt, both by email and to the specified address.

Availability

We do our very best to show only products we have in stock on our site. However, popular products can go out of stock quickly. In the unlikely event of this happening, when we receive your order we will email you with the expected delivery time. If you decide not to continue with your order any sum debited by us from your credit card will be re-credited to your account and we will notify you at the email address given by you on your order form. The refund will be made as soon as possible (usually within 30 days of your order).

Security

We take every precaution to protect information about you both online and offline. Your credit card details are handled solely by Barclaycard Business ePDQ (external web site) secure gateway which means CRC does not see your credit card details at all.

All other personal information is used only for the purposes of issuing you with your goods purchased online or informing you about CRC product news, if you have chosen to subscribe to our email list. We do not sell on your personal details to other companies or organisations for marketing purposes and will not use your email address to market our own services unless you have chosen to subscribe to our email list.

Delivery

We typically use UPS carriers and the Royal Mail to distribute orders. Dependent on size and value, a signature will normally be required so please give an address where this can be obtained.

Complaints procedure

We hope you have a positive customer experience with our team of friendly staff. If, however, you would like to register a complaint about any part of our service please contact us by phone, fax, email, letter or via the online form found on the contact page and your concerns will be addressed promptly and confidentially (within 5 working days).

What kind of guarantee do your products come with?

All our machines are supplied with a guarantee for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of delivery, according to the type of purchase as set out below. This excludes faults caused by accidental damage, misuse or neglect. It also excludes Printheads and Spare parts which come with a 30 day exchange only warranty – subject to inspection by our technicians.

New: new machines are brand new and boxed. They come with full manufacturers warranty.

A-Grade: A-Grade machines are re-boxed as new products fully tested and repacked to original manufacturers specifications. A-Grade machines come with 6 months return to CRC warranty.

Reconditioned: Reconditioned machines are products that have been refurbished to original manufacturers specifications. Reconditioned products are fully tested, cleaned and restocked to original manufacturers specifications. Reconditioned machines come with 6 months return to CRC warranty.

Return / Refund Policy

Your right to cancel

We hope you are pleased with your purchase. Where you wish to cancel an order you may do from the day you placed the order up until the goods are depatched. We will refund the full amount for the returned items (excluding print heads and spare parts) but you must pay the cost of returning the goods to us and postage and packing charges if applicable if goods are not faulty or damaged. We strongly advise that you get a certificate of posting from your post office so that you can claim compensation from Royal Mail should the parcel not reach us.

Damaged or faulty goods

Where possible we check that products are in full working order before items are dispatched, however, inevitably an occasional fault may go unnoticed or occur soon after purchase, in which case we will be happy to take back damaged or faulty goods and exchange or refund your money including return postage costs. To obtain an exchange or refund please return goods to us within 28 days of receipt of goods.

As a general rule you may like to use Royal Mail for smaller and medium packages and a courier service like City Link for larger items. If you use Royal Mail you can get a certificate of posting (free of charge) so that you can claim compensation from Royal Mail if the goods do not reach us. If the goods have a significant retail value (generally more than £30) you are advised to use a Royal Mail service that includes additional insurance to cover your goods should they go missing on route to us. Royal Mail's standard parcel service is generally the most economical way to obtain additional insurance.

CRC reserves the right under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 not to accept returns of audio or video recordings or computer software, where the consumer has unsealed the goods.

Please make sure that you include details of your name, order/invoice number and whether you would like us to exchange your unsuitable/faulty goods or give a refund where appropriate.
